So, one week into my new existence. It’s fair to say I’m in a transitional state, still getting my head round how things are going to work from now on – and, to be honest, still working my way through a loooong list of things I’ve been meaning to tidy up for a while (to do with web site, my books, social media, my newsletter and so on). My plan is to get all these one-off things out of the way so they aren’t a long-term distraction and I can focus on the real work of the writing.
I have completed my writing, editing and encoding of God Star, the final volume of my Triple Stars trilogy. Woo. All told, there are 337, 289 words across the three main books, the prequel novella and the (ahem) secret post-credits scenes. The books are all uploaded and ready to go, and it’s great to have them completed. I’ve also prepared the ebook versions of the trilogy box set – image below – which is also ready to go. I’ve given this a release date of December 11th.
And I have been working on next novels too. I say novels plural because there’s more than one – I actually have the first chapter or two of about five novels on the go, including the next Witchfinder book, a couple of sci/fi books and a fantasy book. At some point I’ll focus in one one and get it written fully, but it’s fun right now to have several projects on the go….
